Korea Land and Geospatial Informatix Corporation Education Institute set a new standard from “Point 1” designed to nurture global leaders to lead the geospatial information industry. Just as a starting point embraces numerous relative coordinates for measurement, the concept, embracing a landscape made up of the earth and nature, expands architecturally to the infinite value toward future. The convergent ideology of education of Korea Land and Geospatial Informatix Corporation Education Institute, or “time, space and man for creative thinking,” is fortified through the creation of various spaces such as courtyard and atrium with the nature. The linear shape of the four building radially positioned fitting geographical features suggests the logo of the education institute leading the geospatial information industry. ‘Point 1’ is where the beautiful environment and geography are respected, for it aims to become the place of special education with lively and dynamic man at the center.
